Maintenance tips for high-altitude work vehicles

High altitude work platforms must be maintained every year or 150 hours of use in order to ensure the normal use of the equipment and extend its service life. Although formal maintenance requires professional personnel to operate, our staff should also learn some maintenance tips.

1. Check the oil quality and level of the hydraulic oil. The lifting platform should be raised throughout the entire process, and at this position, the hydraulic ground should be 40-50 millimeters higher than the bottom of the box. If the hydraulic oil becomes dark, sticky, or has foreign objects such as gravel, it should be replaced in a timely manner (32 # hydraulic oil). Annual maintenance and inspection of all hydraulic pipelines and joints of the lifting platform. Change the hydraulic oil once after 1000 hours of use, or immediately if the oil deteriorates during use. Check the filters of the suction and return pipes in the fuel tank (annually).

2. Engine and battery. The maintenance of power components must also be carried out at the same intervals and methods as cars.

3. Oil pipes, pipelines, and filters. The pipeline must not be damaged, and the joints must not be loose. All joints must be tightened. Remove and disassemble the lowering valve of the lifting platform, blow out the plunger with compressed air, then install it and reinstall it. Drain and discard the hydraulic oil, tighten the joint, remove the oil filter, clean it with compressed air, and then return it to the oil tank and connect the pipeline. (Replace with new oil and do not continue using old oil. Otherwise, the moving components in the hydraulic lifting platform system will accelerate wear.)

4. Check for wear on the rollers, intermediate shafts and bearings, cylinder pins and bearings, boom hinge shafts and bearings of the high-altitude work platform. Add some lubricating oil to each part to extend the service life of the lifting platform components.
